LinkedIn has just updated its iPhone app to allow users to create Endorsements via smartphones and tablets.
Spread the love
LinkedIn announced the update in a blog post.
“With endorsements on mobile, you can keep your professional reputation fresh by accepting endorsements from your connections and by adding skills to your profile,” wrote LinkedIn's head of Mobile Product, Duncan Osborn.
New look
Aside from increased functionality, the apps have been refreshed to reflect Apple's new iOS 7 operating system.
Think softer colours, sharper corners and a cleaner look.
Rising stars
Since launching late last year, LinkedIn users have gifted each other over 2 billion Endorsements.
By extending Endorsements to its growing mobile user base, LinkedIn will hoping to boost the one thing its lags behind the other platforms in: engagement.
And by giving users more marketable skills, the platform will potentially attract more employers looking to advertise for top-shelf job seekers.
