Once more, LinkedIn is sharing insights into workplace culture, and the keys to being hired and staying competitive.
Soft skills in demand
First off, you might want to brush up on professional apps and programs such as Photoshop and Office, for now is the time of the multi-talented and adaptable employee.
According to the statistics, 70% of US professionals will no longer tolerate workplace environments with negative cultures, 65% said they’d be willing to take a pay cut and 26% said they’d give up a hoity-toity title for better conditions.
Attracting the pros
For companies looking to amp up worker contentment, they can do no better than to create pride toward the company. Over 87% of workers agree, and 46% would prefer if their company had a positive impact on society.
It’s not about putting up with nonsense either, as 39% of employees would rather leave their job than be directed to do something either morally or ethically dubious.
Benefits are also prized by employees over perks, meaning days off and holidays trump tangible incentives like game rooms and bubble teas.
