Looking for that perfect fit in your next position? LinkedIn's latest might be right up your alley.
Look at Me
The feature, simply called How You Match, appears on the right hand side of the page whenever you’re looking at job on LinkedIn.
As the name implies, the feature cross-checks a number of data points from your work history with the job’s requirements. These include education, years of experience, skill sets, and current job title.
LinkedIn Premium members get even juicer data: the ability to see their applicant rank within the posting, which reveals if they're in the top percentile of applicants.
Work it
LinkedIn recommends making sure your profile is up to date to ensure How You Match’s data more accurate.
Top tip: 40% of recruiters search for talent, and soft skills such as communication and digital literacy skills are in high demand.
Finally, certain positions now also come with a 1-Click Apply button, making it easier to get ahead of the competition on both desktop and mobile. What are you waiting for?
