LinkedIn users will find they can now use filters and text styles when creating videos for their own professional network. And it looks a bit like Snapchat.

LinkedIn believes that with video being shared more than 20X that of any other type of content, it was the right time to release new video creation tools.
Having originally launched filters last October, LinkedIn stated via blog post that the success inspired an expansion of the feature, adding “Work High five,” “Side Hustle,” and “On the Air” filters.
Coupled with three new text styles (FifthAve, Geometric, and Plain), creators can add text and flare to their professional videos and engage more fellow members.
The How-to
The new features are available to iOS and Android users using the current app. To use simply:
- Tap the video icon found within the share box
- Upload or record an original video
- Add text and filters by tapping the icons found in the right-hand corner
- Drag elements where you would like.
The new features draw from expectations users have come to expect from Instagram and Snapchat, making the new effects familiar to use and easy to get on board with.
