Love them or loathe them, Facebook's Reaction emojis aren't going away anytime soon – they've just got a global thumbs up from the social network.
Smiley face
Reaction emojis allow users to select a variety of emojis when Liking a post. Emotions include laughing, shocked, love, and anger.
The feature was first tested in Spain and Ireland last year. The emojis were a hit with users, and now the ubiquitous faces are available in Chile, Portugal, the Philippines and Japan.
Lost for words?
While Australia and New Zealand aren't on the official list of emoji love just yet, Facebook says it's planning to roll out the feature to new markets in the coming months.
When they eventually come, Reaction emojis could give brands more options for interacting with the customers beyond a simple Like.
