Canary in a digital coal mine
Chrome Canary is designed to run on the HTTP/2 web standard.
Translated, that means it goes (theoretically) very fast. HTTP/2 is the new web standard designed to make browsing faster. It's being gradually rolled out globally.
But if you can't wait, you can get your hands on the new Canary browser. But be warned it's still in beta.
Baby steps
Google admits as much on Canary’s office site.
“Be forewarned: it's designed for developers and early adopters, and can sometimes break down completely.”
But they say fortune favours the brave. And maybe the fast, too.
