Depending on your point of view, either Messenger or the Apple Watch just got a bit more appealing. 

Facebook's messaging service is finally available on Apple's latest gadget.

Apple Watch users can now do all sorts of handy things using Messenger, including the ability to send voice memos, view and respond to messages, and send stickers.

On the Apple Watch Messenger also shows conversations and contacts when searching via Spotlight.

No time like the present

The update might be more of a boon for the Apple Watch rather than Messenger.

While Apple won't reveal how many Apple Watches is has sold so far, the genuine wisdom puts the figure at around 3 million. 

By comparison, Messenger has over 600 million users.
