Apple is bringing password AutoFill third-party development for the latest system build, iOS 12.
Unlock with ease
Now outside password manager applications will integrate with the new Password AutoFill for easier access to signing in with apps and mobile websites.
Password managers are crucial to many active users. Yet it can be difficult (and annoying) keeping a complex web of accounts in order, or be alerted when there is a data breach.
To get rid of the need for any sort of master password list or tedious copy and pasting, Apple’s AutoFill can be accessed from the QuickType Bar.
As easy as you’d hope
Now users can easily fill third-party app forms, for smoother sign-ins across multiple Apple devices. The success has been a joint effort in liaising with 1Password, Dashlane, and LastPass.
1Password is ready to integrate with Apple right now and the others will soon follow. Either way, a community is being built around more efficient log-ins and that’s not bad.
Have you struggled with multiple logins in the past? What do you think about granting third-party access to password management? Let us know in our comment section.
