Periscope has just released some handy new features designed for brands and sun lovers.

Fun in the sun

Periscope for iOS now sports an updated stabilisation feature, meaning live streams now more professional. Broadcasters can now also add their local time in live streams.

Sun lovers have also been catered for: Periscope now boasts a daylight curve on its map, meaning users can view sunrises and sunsets to their hearts' content from around the globe.

Stream time

After making a splash last year, Periscope is moving to a more professional offering in a bid to attract more advertisers.

And with Facebook now featuring its own live streaming service, expect more bells and whistles from Twitter-owned Periscope this year.
