Facebook might want to be everything to everyone, but Pinterest has the edge when it comes to threads.

Now Pinterest Lens can offer you fashion tips.

Pining to Pin

The feature, called Lens Your Look, works by letting you add photos of clothes to text searches.

For example, you’re looking for something to go with your favourite jacket, Lens Your Look can suggest other items from your wardrobe. You can mix and match different combination on your screen.

Fashion tips are pulled from 16 billion style Pins.

Pinterest says the features acts as a personal stylist, fielding queries such as “what if wore it with a hat?” and “find me something for the beach”.

Shop the Look

Of course if you can’t find that certain something, you can always buy it.

Pinterest has recently partnered with ShopStyle, meaning 5 million new shoppable products across 25 thousand brands are now available on the platform.

Lens Your Look and new shoppable Pins are now available on the English language version of Pinterest on iOS and Android.
