Snapchat is making hay while the sun shines and partnering with TV networks to create snappy shows for its army of millennials.

Snapchat is partnering heavy hitters including NBCUniversal, ESPN, and ABC to create snackable TV episodes, each around three – five minutes long.
These “microsodes” will appear in Snapchat Stories.
Ratings winner?
The content is being designed to be interactive and actively court viewer engagement. Shows will apparently be scripted, rather than the reality TV model.
The announcement comes as platforms are migrating en masse to TV. Twitter recently announced it will broadcast live content 24/7, Facebook is positioning itself as the premier second screen, and YouTube is busy signing up stars like Ellen.
However, being good at one thing doesn’t mean you'll strike gold on the small screen. Remember Apple’s Planet of the Apps? There’s a reason for that.
