Facebook and Dropbox have launched a new collaboration for cloud storage and social fans: a better way to access Workplace by Facebook.

Workplace by Facebook is the platform’s enterprise offering and rival to Slack and Atlassian.

To get more SMEs and marketers interested, it’s now being offered for free.

Drop in

Dropbox was quick to jump on board, and now you can post any file from Dropbox directly into Workplace.

Unlike Facebook, Workplace is keen on establishing a broad church. It currently offers intergration with applications from Salesforce, Microsoft and Box, plus a bunch of others.
