Tumblr tantalises Millennials with Stickers

Tumbler has turned a corner with the addition of stylised stickers, and it’s a bit more eye-catching than you might expect.

What’s cooler than a 2D sticker? A 3D sticker.

Following in the steps of Messenger and Snapchat, Tumblr has brought its own pop-aesthetic to personal pics.

Setting itself out from the peacocking pack, Tumblr has opted for retro 3D stickers, brightly coloured backdrops, and filters.

A sticker for every season

Kicking off its dedication to seasonal variant stickers, Valentine’s Day and Black History month will be the first to get the full Tumblr-bedazzled treatment.

Boasting more than 100 sticker options at launch, Tumblr promises more to follow. 

With apps driving increased customisation, with more fun in mind, users will be able to join the craze while keeping those candid captures uniquely light-hearted.

It might also keep Tumblrs away from rivals Snapchat and Instagram.
