Facebook has just released a blog post outlining how it plans to update its metrics and reporting features.
Made to measure
The biggest news is that Facebook will now increase its third-party verification for reports. This means partnering with industry heavyweights such as Nielsen and comScore to help give Facebook's figures more cred.
This is particularly focused around video, which in the past has come under scrutiny.
Updates
Facebook says it will more routinely update metrics to reflect its ever-expanding list of services, and make communication about how these work more clear.
To assist with this, Facebook is launching a new Metrics FYI blog to keep marketers up to speed.
