Don't go hungry and don't get bored – your Facebook friends will soon find the perfect restaurant or the most exciting event for you.
Facebook's new recommendations feature allows users to write a status requesting suggestions for anything from food and clothing shops to hairdressers.
Friends' recommendations will then appear on a map, giving the original user an easy way to decide where to take their business.
Significantly, users can skip the middleman and use Facebook to order food, book appointments, get quotes, and buy tickets.
With an upgrade to the Events tab, users will be able to discover more of what is going on around them without leaving Facebook.
Ticket purchases will be integrated with events to give users as much information as possible.
The features are rolling out to the US in the coming months.
