Facebook wants to know all about your next event, whether it's private or public.
The Facebook Events feature is now being segmented between private and public events.
Public events now feature larger profile photos and display more information about the location and details of the event.
Users can chose from 36 cover art themes to jazz up their private events invite. Cover art themes include seasons, holidays, travel, and food and drink.

New ways of interacting with events in the works. At the moment users can only "Join' an event, however anyone who's ever hosted a Facebook event knows a fair number of these users won't attend.
To combat this, users may soon be able to follow events, or select a "Remind Me" option.
Brands hosting activations and events might see a boost in engagement, if not attendance, from Facebook's newest update.
