Google has just made it easier for individuals and brands to protect their online privacy with the launch of a new Accounts hub.
Aladdin's Cave
Google revealed the updated security boost in a blog post.
"Today, we’re rolling out two significant improvements to our privacy and security tools: a new hub for managing your Google settings called My Account, and a new site that answers important questions about privacy and security on Google".
Safety first
The My Account page gives a snapshot into the status of your Google accounts and apps including sign-in data, ad display and personal setting.
You can also manage the security settings of your Google Apps here.
Password protect
A security setup wizard lets you view and change your passwords through a two-step verification process. These can then be verified across all your desktop and mobile devices.
You also now have greater control over the amount of content is publicly shared from your accounts. For example Google+ posts, Google Play app reviews and YouTube comments.
Privacy update
And for those who want to drill down a little deeper, check out Google's privacy policy website to better understand what information Google collects from you, how this is used to serve ads.
