As the year winds to a close it can be difficult keeping up with all those Christmas parties, present lists, and general errands.
Happily, Google is making the holidays a little easier for its faithful by bringing Reminders to Calendar.
It's a date
Google announced the update in a blog post.
"Now there's a single way to manage your day: starting this week, you can create Reminders in Google Calendar to keep track of your to-dos alongside your scheduled events."
Timely update
Unlike regular calendar entries, Reminders will continue to pop up until you dismiss them
For example, if you set a reminder to connect with a client and don't get around to it on the date you meant to, your Reminder will appear at the top of your calendar until its addressed (or swiped away).
Reminders also feature additional content to help you complete your tasks. So your client's number and business address might feature.
Bucket list
Reminders can be created from Inbox, Keep, and Google Now, and is shared across all these platforms.
While Gmail has long offered a standalone "to-do" list, this more integrated update could be a boon for power Calendar users.
