Instagram adds Emoji Shortcut

Instagram is pushing for more efficient emoji use with the latest addition to their in-app keyboard.

Oh gee, fast emoji

Finding your thumbs too slow to get those comments out in a flash? Instagram says ‘worry no more’ with the addition of emoji shortcuts for comments.

The Emoji Bar allows users to add personalised and popular emojis above your keyboard, when commenting on a post.

The feature is available for both Android and iOS so no one need feel put out by the extra wait time. Emojis are ready to fly.

Belly up to the (emoji)bar

It's worth noting the Emoji Bar will only show up when posting comments on other posts, not if you're responding to a Story or captioning your own post.

To get the new emoji bar, simply get the new Instagram update for iOS or Android and you’re laughing…or crying…or devil face…or whatever.
