Insta-innovations
Very soon, Instagram’s camera features will be a whole lot more robust as the company announces an entirely list of updates coming to the platform.
The Explore section is getting a new redesign, Stories are getting more dynamic sharing options, and a new “bully filter” will help keep toxic behaviour from polluting the comment section.
The innovations are at various levels of development, some which have already been rolled out. Others are in the testing phase.
Cream of the crop
New AR effects can be spotted in Stories, and lets users to “try on” new clothes through smart filters.
Video conferencing has been rumoured for some time, and finally nearing official launch status.
But that’s not all, Facebook is putting its fingers in all kinds of pies, exploring another dating feature, new ways to clear browser history, and updates to groups and messaging. It looks like a social spring clean is afoot.
