Christmas might be coming early to marketers with a visual bent.
It looks like Instagram is testing multiple-account support – for Android users at least.
The more the merrier
According to Android Police, select users are now able to manage numerous Instagram accounts from one Android device.
The feature is currently live on the 7.12.0 version of the app, buried in Settings under the Add Account option.
From here a new account can either be logged in to, or a new account created from scratch.
Smooth operator
While there are existing third-party apps that offer similar functionality (and Facebook Pages has long given users the ability to juggle multiple accounts), Instagram has been late coming to the party.
If the trial gets a wider roll out, it could prove a time and sanity saver for marketers and brands managing more than one 'Gram.
Keen to give it a spin? If you're on Android try downloading the latest version of Instagram's app today.
