Who says kitten videos are bad for you? A new study shows YouTube has the most positive impact on children's mental health, while Snapchat and Instagram have the worst.

The #StatusofMind Report published by the Royal Society for Public Health and the Young Health Movement, surveyed 1500 people aged 14 – 24 years from across the UK.
Below are the top five platforms, in order of most positive to most negative impact.
1. YouTube
2. Twitter
3. Facebook
4. Snapchat
5. Instagram
Gram blues
Respondents identified negative impact around feelings of depression, anxiety, fear of missing out, and loneliness.
The report's authors speculate that Snapchat and Instagram are at the bottom of the list as they are image-focused, and may drive feelings of inadequacy in young people.
