Three ways to win at marketing on Pinterest

Looking for a fresh approach to your marketing mojo this year? Consider amping up your efforts on fan favourite Pinterest.

Pinterest is important because it boasts one of the most engaged and affluent userbase of any social platform.

Read on to find out how to make your content pop with Pins.

1. Tag it

Posting a beautiful product image is well and good, but don't tease your users – let them know when they can buy it and how much it will cost.

Adding a price tag to your pins not only gives you a greater shot at conversion, pins with price tags attract 36% more Likes than those without

2. Join a Board

Don't pin in isolation. Consider joining a Pinterest group board to connect with new users and get some great ideas for content and trends.

A service like PinGroupie can help you search for the most relevant Pinterest groups, based on your interests.

3. Hashtag it

Long gone are the days when Twitter had a monopoly on hashtags. Adding hashtags to your posts and pins makes your brand and content easier to discover.

For example, if you're a fashion retailer consider adding relevant hashtags to images such as #summerfashion or #vintagedress.
