Another new Google brand is bringing enterprise tools together and tightenting the integration between them.
One platform to rule them all
DoubleClick and Analytics 360: they’re mainstays for many in professional digital marketing. Now, they’re coming together in a singular environment called the Google Marketing Platform.
The official pitch for the new platform says it’s where you can ‘plan, buy, measure and optimize digital media and customer experiences in one place’. And, by bringing things together, they reckon it makes it ‘easy to collaborate and share insights’.
For small business, the tools are free. But the Enterprise package is where the new stuff is at.
SAAS 360
So, what’s in the Enterprise package? A bunch of 360s and a studio.
At launch, the Google Marketing Platform brings together Analytics 360, Data Studio, Optimize 360, Surveys 360 and Tag Manager 360—along with the newly consolidated Display & Video 360 and Search Ads 360.
Target plans
This repacking seems to service the ongoing delineation of free Google for consumers and SMEs, and Suite/360 Google for bigger business. At least there’s a practical side to it, as they add value while they draw the line.
As old ‘Certified Partners’ programs lose relevance, are you eager to become a new ‘Platform Partner’?
