While most stats around Facebook tend to be big, dizzyingly big in most cases, some are more relevant than others.
So we’ve sifted through the stats to pluck out the most pertinent data for marketers in 2018.
Big Business
Facebook’s passed the 2 billion monthly user mark in Q3 last year, marking a 16% year-on-year increase.
There are 1.37 billion are Daily Active Users, a similar rise of 16% since last year.
However all these Facebookers are getting increasingly mobile. Facebook now has 1.15 billion mobile daily active users, a massive jump of 23% year-on-year.
Five new Facebook profiles are created every second, however at least 80 million profiles are deemed to be fake.
Age Game
Users aged 27 – 34 years make up the biggest demographic of Facebookers, accounting for almost 30% of all users.
While the busiest time of day for posts is between 1pm – 3pm, when most users are on lunch. Over the week, engagement is up 18% on Thursdays and Fridays.
A Lot to Like
