Google has recently been working on the Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) Project, an open source platform designed to streamline mobile loading times across the board.
Now the efforts have born fruit.

In less than 6 months 150 million websites have adopted AMP, with another 4 million added every day. Google says the boost benefits everything from social media to mobile e-commerce sites.
