In news that will surprise few, Facebook has reported that it's gotten bigger, and much richer.
Cash cow
Facebook's Q3 Earnings Report shows the company raked in US$7.01 billion in revenue.
This blew away analyst expectations of US$6.92 billion, who predicted Facebook was reaching saturation points with ads.
It appears this is not so.
Join the party
Facebook now has 1.79 billion monthly users, marking 16% year-on-year growth.
This quarter was particularly good for Facebook in terms of user numbers, growing 4.67% (up from 3.63% in Q2.)
Daily active users jumped from 1.13 billion to 1.18 billion over the quarter.
Make it rain on mobile
Facebook now has 1.66 billion mobile monthly users, this marks a 5.7% increase from the previous quarter.
Mobile now accounts for 84% of Facebook's ad revenue. While this figure has remained static since the last quarter, it marks an 6% increase since Q3 2015.
