While Facebook might have over 2.1 billion users, more than half (1.2 billion) are connected to a small business in another country.
Helping you leverage this market, Facebook has introduced updates to its cross-border solutions.
No Passport Required
Cross-border solutions was introduced in September 2016, as a resource for brands looking to expand their presence across borders.
Now the resource has four updates making the international transition that much smoother.
One World?
The first update is Dynamic Language Optimisation, which allows brands to include multiple languages in one campaign. Facebook will match the appropriate language to users.
The second update lets advertisers create multi-country lookalike audiences, using a combination of countries and regions. Until now, this feature was confined to a single country or region.
The next update gives brands the power to conduct multi-city targeting, which applies to cities above a certain population size.
Finally, Facebook has released the Facebook IQ Cross-Border Insights Finder, giving advertisers a data-based playbook on expanding abroad. This includes comparative data based on past Facebook and Instagram campaigns.
